Came here to look at what they had for dogs available for adoption. Was very surprised that they had so many. The dogs seemed well cared for, and the kennels were clean. We found a young 2 year old mixed breed, who is the sweetest dog we've ever met. The adoption process was pretty straight forward. Crystal was a great help answering our questions. The fee was $55 dollars and included the dog being spayed and microchipped. We got to pick up the dog 2 days later after her surgery. We are so glad we decided to rescue her. She is the most laid back easy going dog we have ever owned. Does she need some training? Of course she does, all dogs (and people) can always use some more training. That being said its now been 2 weeks and she's already an integral part of our family. So our thanks to Levy County Animal Services for the newest member of our family. If your still reading this and are considering rescuing a dog. Please go check them out. There are plenty of good dogs who could use a good human to share the rest of their lives with.
