This place caters almost entirely to speedball and that's great because that's my preferred way to play but due to this they very much neglect their recball scene. People renting paintball equipment are the future of the sport, almost everyone who plays paintball started out at a birthday party renting an old tippmann. But this field just doesn't really put much effort into their casual player experience. Almost all the referees are literal children, as in under 18, and because of this they don't really perform their job. They don't keep games going at regular intervals and they don't really call hits during games. There are also really only 3 maps in the entire field, a castle/tank map, a deep woods map, and a hyperball field. The hyperball field is by far the best one but just like the rest of the field it's very neglected and the last time I played on it a pipe had fallen off a bunker and an exposed screw was sticking out the side. The bright side of this field is they have lots of different paint options and the paint is usually very fresh and the manager has been nice enough to tech a marker of mine once at no cost. As for their speedball, well it's in much better shape but I do think they could improve it. Many of the bunkers constantly deflate to the point where they need to be aired up almost every point, especially the old Virtue bunkers that are used on the lower division field. Their air system also rarely ever fills a tank to 4500 PSI, not a total deal breaker but still an inconvenience. This field is legendary for the amount of competitive and pro teams that have made their home here and I myself have had many awesome practice days here. But I only wish they would do things to improve the experience for everyone, as they have the potential to be the best paintball field in the state, they just need to invest in improving their facilities.

Love this place! Great place to have fun with the family and try new things. Also awesome new sport to introduce teens too. My daughter loves it .she's been playing since she was 7. CFP is the best field around. Helpful staff, many fun rec ball games. Loads to do at rely great prices.

Play paintball here we had a great time the new referee was hilarious. He had me cracking up unfortunately I can't recall his name, but he said it was his first day. If you get a 2 boxes of balls that should work for you and 6 friends for most of the day. Especially if your new to paintball. Good times all around a great way to get a lot of experience and exercise. I recommend bringing a cooler with drinks and snacks. Check in is at the first building as you drive in and after checking you can then drive to your course. Your cooler then will be less than 20 ft from you. Only thing that would make it better is if you could be assigned a referee as they seem to rotate.

GEARED MORE TOWARDS TOURNAMENT STYLE PAINTBALL, SO IF YOUR A BEGINNER I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU GET OUT AND PLAY WITH YHESE GUYS AS IT WILL PROBABLY BE YOUR LAST BECAUSE SHOOTING A LOW END GUN AGAINST A $2,000 GUN THAT THESE GUYS USE IS NO MATCH AND IT'S REALLY NOT FUN FOR BEGINNERS.... IF YOU LOVE COMPETITIONS THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!

Is up to you and other players you can choose private party ... hope this help
Yes
You can just show up. No appointment need unless its for a private party.
No, they want you to shoot their paint "social ball"
No the paintball world only uses compressed air now
Not to sure about central Florida paintball, but if your looking to do a GREAT BIRTHDAY PARTY doing paintball then ORBITAL PAINTBALL is one of the best places, CFP is geared more towards competitions to where orbital paintball is geared more towards entry level. If you have a party of 10 or more you get the paintball gun and all the gear you will need plus 500 paintballs for $25 per person, and that's for all day play! If you have 9 or less then it is $35 per person. BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ORBITAL PAINTBALL.... TELL THEM "DWAYNE MOORE" SENT YOU😉 trust me it will help.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND HAVE FUN!!
