My second stay, so what's that tell ya. This time was even more enjoyable. They have a very nice entry gate with code. Full hookups. Showers. The ticks are everywhere, so use flip flops in the showers . And if you use the rest room after dark , make noise so nobody shuts the lights out on ya. ENJOY!

Quiet place to camp for the weekend. Lots of trails to explore. Campsites are large with plenty of space for the kiddos to run around, explore and play. The campground is gated and there are overflow parking spots for family friends and visitors to hang for the day.

We stayed at the hunting section of the holder mine camp. My family and I had a wonderful time. It was quit and peaceful and beautiful. We will be back.

Not sure, when it comes to the hiking trails nearby it merely mentions to make sure they are leashed and picked up after when they use the restroom out there.

All sires are booked thru reserve america
Love it and yes they do. Plus power. Great camp host.
No, there isn't a body of water at Holder Mine Campground. You can fish in nearby Henderson Lake, The Withlacoochee river, and any number of other bodies of water nearby. Kings bay is only about 35 minutes from the campground and the gulf isn't much further. Oh, and apparently I have to tell you about having to have a fishing license, at least that's what seems to be the trend.
There is no full hookups there's only Water and Electric and it's $25 a night but you got to make reservations cuz the locals fill it up quick
No, but stay on the vehicle only trails. Their marked, have fun!
Most of them just move over to another camp site with out leaving the area. I have never stayed there but I see the same campers on a different site.
Yes
Straight talk, which uses both Verizon and AT&T towers works in most areas (data 3G/LTE+), and I've not walked into an area where I haven't had cell service (call/text). I've explored most of the parks hiking trails.
Only if they are licensed vehicle through Florida State or they have a license plate from another state. They can only be on names and numbered roads. No trail riding allowed.
They provide firewood at the site.
Entrance on Highway 581 is partially paved partial Lime Rock easy for riding a motorcycle on well graded
About 30 miles. If you want to be near water checkout Silver Lake Recreation Area or if you do not need electricity checkout Hog Island or River Junction Campgrounds.
There are senior and Military Discounts. We have a 28/29' camper and have no problems. Very nice camp sites.
