Amazing museum to visit with young children. Spent 5 hours playing, exploring and learning. There is a great water play area outside, and exhibits are rotated often. Highly recommend getting a membership and returning again and again!

I have a 9 year old, 1.5 year old, & a 6 month old. They all had a blast here! My 9 year old told me it was the best science museum he’s ever been to. My 1.5 year old was having a grand ol time running around and playing in the 5 and under area. & my 6 month old even got to enjoy himself, they have a little corner area with a loft, a big mirror and pillows for your baby to look at themselves and roll around. I will absolutely be coming back here before the summer ends. The water area outside was also really refreshing on a nice hot day!

Great spot on a busy vacation day. The inside has 2 real levels full of engaging experiments. While they go upntob5 floors and have an observation deck the top floors are one exhibit small rooms. Great fro little ones (2+) all the way through high school. I enjoyed the live animals, snapping turtles, leaf cutter ants, fish, etc... and both the music making and bubble making sections. Only negative... for its size and location the cost is not cheap for a family. 17$ or so for each adult and $14 each for kids of any age... that adds up. Bonus, great outdoor spaces to explore along the river too.

Nice museum. Of course it is a bit smaller than Science Museum in Boston but it felt more modern. Geared towards kids but plenty of hands on for adults as well. Overall was a pleasant trip. We visited in the winter so did not explore the trails/park.

Yes it's extremely fun ! Great for kids . a ton to do inside and out .
The Montshire is a science museum, and our exhibits focus on natural and physical sciences, ecology, and technology. Science education is a key part of our mission, and we want to ensure that both children and adults can enjoy and learn from our exhibits.
Yes, opened all days of the year except Christmas and Thanksgiving days.
It would be a good idea to find a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Here's a current 2022 list for the state of Vermont: https://vtfishandwildlife.com/sites/fishandwildlife/files/documents/Learn%20More/Living%20with%20Wildlife/Rehabilitation/Wildlife_Rehabilitator_Locator.pdf You could also check with the state department of fish and wildlife for their suggestions. You'll want to get it removed as soon as possible and have professionals do the handling. Good luck!

$16 per adult $13 per child over the age of 2
It is stroller friendly. There is only the fog and weather station on a very small level that is not accessible with the stroller. All other levels can be reached by an elevator as well as stairs. In nice weather, there are wide paths and trails that you can use a stroller on. Not all paths but certainly around the outdoor water exhibits. It is a children's museum....all ages but fun for grown ups too.
Not sure but a great place to see.
