One of the most miserable places I've ever worked at. The stress level was through the roof. The kids were completely out of control and there was an overwhelming lack of concern. This facility served more as a juvenile detention center for maladaptive behaviors (drug use, runaways, promiscuity, and mental health issues) than a safe place for youth.

We do take those donations. The donation center at Joshua House is typically open M-F, 9-4. It is run by volunteers that are much appreciated. Alternative times are available by appointment. Thank you for asking.
Unfortunately yes. It is a sad thing.
They do not need to shut down. They need to be re-evaluated. I just left this place and yes there are some issues. A lot actually. But they do not abuse their kids. The kids get into fights but they are kids. It’s what they do
