Love my CU in Port Charlotte! My husband and I decided we need to do some much needed repairs to our home. We went in and told Mary Hynes that we were looking for a HELOC. Mary was very personable and efficient. Before we knew it, we were there to sign our paperwork. I kept my account here ever since I worked here way back when. It was nice to see a great staff who works together.

We are just about DONE with this bank. We've been banking with them for over a decade, and the customer service has absolutely plummeted. On the rare occasion that we have to use a teller in the drive thru, the attitude and tone is unacceptable. They do not want to be bothered, and it shows. When my husband went into the branch today to withdraw cash, they literally questioned him what he was using it for! Are you kidding me?? If it's not enough for the government to ask, who do you think you are to ask? This is OUR money that we entrust you to hold! That's it! We will be searching for a bank that doesn't need to know our business and actually wants to help their customers!

Love this credit union! The employees are EXCEPTIONAL. We met Maria first and were SO impressed. She’s very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Darlene stepped up when Maria was off and is equally a great addition to the staff there. Next, we’ve had extensive dealings with Mary and she is a (very fun) gem. Guided us through a lot of confusion and FIXED everything. Debbie and Lorrie are always very friendly and helpful as well, whenever we’re at the branch and the whole crew is stellar, as I’m sure Peggy will be too. We’ve dumped all the banks we’ve dealt with due to issues and problems and since there were never any with Florida Central Credit Union, we moved everything here and have not looked back. Live in the state of Florida and have an immediate relative that is currently a member of floridacentral. Are an employee of one of the businesses we serve. Visit your Human Resources Department to find out if membership at floridacentral Credit Union is offered to the employees of your company. If so, they will have all of the necessary forms you need to open your account. You will need to complete the membership application and provide a copy of a valid Driver's License or State ID and a copy of your Social Security card, Passport or Work ID.
