Lake Haven is a very nice and well-maintained 55+ park, but there are extreme rules at this manufactured home community. Also, I have seen first-hand accounts of a lot of unpleasant neighbors. The pool and lakes are scenic and clean. However, the lot rent is much pricier than most in the area. It is currently over $750 per month. You own your home, but you have to pay the unusually high monthly lot rent until you sell it. They raise the lot rent incrementally as well...

Owning a home in this area is not cheap. This was the most economical way we found. We did not want to keep up with the Jones' by over extending ourselves on a house we barely use. So, we opted for a place here. We bought the best lot we could find which ended up being the most dilapidated home in the park. Lots of work to be done. But we can do that no problem, just takes time and some elbow grease. Less than 2 years later we have a new home on a lake with wonderful landscaping that doesn't cost us much compared to the average home owner. We love it and we wouldn't change a thing about our home. As to the park itself. It needs some updates. The courts either need updated or torn out. The sidewalks are all caked with moss and mildew. The landscaping in front is new as is much throughout the park. It is a nice change. Staff in the office have always been easy to deal with. There are 3 pools to choose from, one is heated, and they are never busy so to speak. The fitness room is clean and large enough to get a nice workout in. Tons of roads in the parks to walk or ride your bike if you don't want to venture out on the actual roads. Lovely area where you can walk or ride to groceries and things to do. Tons of things to do within a 5 mile radius. Loads of shops and restaurants too. Lots of pawn and discount stores to walk through as well.

Lake Haven is an age qualified community. Lot rents vary. Your best bet is to call the property to find out about the rents as it varies from different sites and locations.
They are not supposed to live there
Yes great staff there to. I lived there for 3yrs it got really overpriced
I know that Lake Haven does allow its owners to rent out their homes. As mentioned above, I would call the office directly and also visit mhvillage.com & filter for "rentals."
No
No. You have to rent an existing coach. Call the office for availability or drive through the park to see for rent by owner
$750-850/mo depending on where the lot is located as they have lots on the water (canal) π
It's per month. If u buy they often offer the 1st six months free.
HOA fees including the lot rent are $836 per month for a house on the canal.
Anyone want a 2 bed /1 bath on the lake...I'm thinking of selling very soon but was interested in talking to interested parties before I go public.
With water, sewer, trash and lawn, and pass on fee, about 720 a month
There might be some l don't know of any. it is late in the season for rentals for that time. Many are confirmed about a year ahead of time.
It is 40 and older without children. They can come visit and stay a couple of weeks but can't live there. It is a very nice community people are all friendly. They have 3 sections each with a pool and club house. The gym is by the office
Like 650+ for a single wide spot. Love it here.
Not that I know. "Do anyone" really?
I'm sure if you call them they will let you know. It changes fast. Only look right when your ready.
