Great trails connects a lot of the north and eastern neighborhoods of lakewood ranch. You can even Geocache hunt there. Amazing wildlife... bird watching, fish, run, walk, hike. You can really feel serene and calm in nature here! Check it out!

This park is HUUUUGE but beware of diamond back rattle snakes. If you have a dog just keep them close to you and DO NOT let them run around on their own. I love this park because it's not crowded, although you will see people riding bikes and jogging but its nowhere near busy as other parks. There is in a way a sense of privacy at this park since its so buried into a neighborhood. Also there is a nice river that flows through the park and is quite of an interesting landscape!
