Arrived to depart 9am had to sit in a shuttle for over 30 minutes while the fbo waited for 2 men to use the bathroom, fill their coffee etc. we could have gone out and back multiple times. So this fbo is ok with delaying 8 other people in the shuttle for 2 people who think their time is more important than everyone else’s. I wouldn’t recommend coming here during a busy event.

This airport is busy. Too busy to be uncontrolled. Nice little airport, but you have to be on your toes.

Flew in for a few hours on a business trip and the staff were excellent. Great car rental from Enterprise and the FBO/main building has plenty of amenities for both crew and pilots. Look forward to going back. I had to wait for a summer storm to pass and it's a very pleasant place to hang out.

We fly into this airport often for a bite to eat (Flightline Cafe Attached to FBO) and the FBO staff are always very friendly and helpful. Due to it's location, Winterhaven is a fairly active Feild, so there is always some eye candy flying in or out while we're there. If you haven't been, I would certainly recommend stopping by to experience it for yourself.

This airport is for private and charter flights. Never seen any commercial flights here.
If you find a private pilot they can fly you there.

Medium size Jets land all the time. Gulfstream G5 G650, Lears and King Airs quite often
No airlines operate out of KGIF. You can find charter services that will pick up/drop off from KGIF but will be pricey.
