The absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! They have hung up on me over 5 times.. transferred me to numerous departments with NO TYPE OF HELP WHATSOEVER. If I could give them a zero I would.... The absolute WORST 08.19.22 After physically visiting the office... I had my issues resolved and more! Thank you to Jane for the time and patience she invested in getting this matter resolved. I appreciate you!

This company is stuck in the past. No website, no one answers the phone, and as you can see with other reviews Walnut Creek needs a new company to handle trash pickup. Submitted complaint letters to BBB and the county, be sure to send more maybe we can get a new company that’s not so useless!

The Republic Garbage Service failed to pick up all the garbage in the can. We're going on vacation soon and have a big family, therefore, wanted a return pickup to make sure the can is empty for the last pickup before our trip. I was placed on hold for numerous hours and was unable to schedule a return pickup. In that time the answering service reps. could have responded to several calls and eventually got to me. Finally, I tried to make a complaint to no avail. The number I was given by the corporate office is no longer in service. The only other number provided is the service one for Pacheco, Ca. that I initially, called, which no one answers and which is responsible for Martinez pickups. Seems the system is broken and they feel embolden by being in a position to not answering to a higher authority. I'm going to call my supervisor for the city and or county to complain since nothing can be done at their level. It should be noted, this has is a frequent issue that happened in the past.

UPDATE: following the response to this review by Republic, I emailed them with a screenshot of the review. With 90 minutes I received an email saying they were sending out a replacement bin the next day. Sure enough, at about 8:40 this morning a rental truck took away the broken bin and replaced it with a brand new bin! So a big shoutout and hooray to the Republic Services social media team and customer service for monitoring these reviews and responding promptly! I shall amend my one-star review to four! ORIGINAL REVIEW: My garbage bin is broken, so I reported it ten days ago. I was told to put out the bin on our regular collection day, and to leave it out for a third-party vendor to take it and give us a new one. That hasn’t happened, and while I wait I still can’t use my garbage can. I know we are coming off a three-day weekend, but I really need this sorted out pronto!
