My doctor closed her business and moved out of town at the end of the year last year. SPFC is the sister office and I was told my records would go to them if I'd like them to. I went there May 16 (Dr Zia)and he told me to use a nasal fluid from the store and it would help my sinuses and my sore throat was probably due to sinus drainage. I know my body and I did what he said and now I'm full blown with every kind of body aches sore throat, coughing, sneezing, (my teeth/jaw even hurts) and more. I took the covid test and it was negative. When I called Wed, they never told me that they wouldn't send out prescriptions or that I should come in. I called again Thursday and today is Friday, I have made 3 calls and Shannon told the Dr would call after lunch. It's 4:30 and the Dr calls saying I need to go to an urgent care because he isn't sending anything over the phone. I get that but why tell me this now when I have called since Wednesday??? They people who answer the phone need more training and empathy. If you don't want to hear people complaining about their health issues, find another job. I'm probably going to change doctor. I don't think they would care because there will be someone else standing in line. I don't blame the doctors for what happened this week, I blame the front desk. I know my body and I never get sick but when I do, it turns into this. Doctors need to listen to their patients especially when they don't know you well. It's a shame you can't give zero stars they don't even deserve one star. Oh yes, I took a covid test and it was negative. So long, St Pete Family care! I know you don't care if I leave. You need to remove the word care in your name because you don't care.

Hope this goes through! Having trouble posting 😔THIS IS my review of DR PATERNO (&ST PETE FAMILY HEALTH CARE in St Pete Fl. )...I had a follow-up with Dr Paterno (ironically was supposed to be another Dr) She (though young & a fairly new Dr) was Wonderful !! Dr Paterno is Knowledgeable,Cordial,& Extremely Caring!!! She even took time to discuss with me my recent Cancer treatment which I'm going through ( with a colleague ) !! I m not a " DR PERSON" 🤩BUT Dr Paterno made me feel so Comfortable with Confidence as well !! I requested her for future visits!! THANK YOU 🙏😘 DR PATERNO!! GOD BLESS YOU 🙏💕 Susan Kirkpatrick 🥰

Please don't go here!! The office staff seems as though the either hate their job or hate the clients either way, something should be done with the way they handle their clients. Doctors are ok, but the experience before, after, waiting and during calls dealing with the office staff makes it miserable. I will not be going back. Hope I save you from a wasted trip, time, gas and $ not to mention your feelings! Just take a moment and read the most recent reviews (& lower) even the "likes"of the reviews they are all the same complaints (and I am sure they deleted most and probably had their friends write good reviews) Don't take my word for it, go see but please leave a review. People need to know!

Honestly, it has been YEARS since I have visited a Primary Care Physician. That is because every single past one that I tried or had to have due to insurance were horrific. They didn't care about your concerns. They cut you off in the middle of a sentence and just give you any answer in order to rush u out and move on to the next patient. After all, the more you see the more you can bill. So I just ignored all of my health issues because I saw no point. Now to St. Pete Family Care. I actually ended up with them because of an injury I got and I needed a PCP in order to get a clearance note to go back to work. So I went online and searched for doctors in my insurance network -one with a name that was nowhere like the ones I had bad experiences with. That's when I landed on Dr. J. Broyles. Thankfully they accepted me as a new patient. Usually, every doctor I've been to, the initial "new patient" appointment is to ONLY get established. However, I ended up talking about the health problems I had been ignoring. The PA(?) Was very attentive and concerned. Listened to every concern without being irritated that it was taking forever. She was SUPER knowledgeable and immediately ordered tests to be done. After, Dr. Broyles came in and agreed with everything. At this practice I feel cared about, heard, not rushed. It's amazing and I would recommend to anyone. I'm happy that I finally have a PCP that cared and I don't have to suffer any longer!!!

Yes they do
They take many insurances. If you call or check the website they can check for you.
