Did a great job hosting Sun N Fun!
Batts Christopher
Lots of fun, wish we had more time there. The opportunity to fly in Doc, one of only two flying B-29's in the world, was beyond compare. Can't wait for next year!

Airshow, car show, auction, races, education and camping. These sweet people know how to show case Florida at it's finest.

Spent the day at sun n fun Friday and had a terrific time. Easy in and out parking attendants very helpful. Purchasing tickets to enter was a breeze with many personnel to expedite. Many vendors from all over the country sharing their products and experiences. Air show was spectacular on going through out the day and evening. Highly recommended if you enjoy the latest aviation technology.

The facility opened July 2020. They operate 24/7 with approximately 16 aircraft being serviced daily ranging in size from 737-800s to 767-300s.

Hello Joanne, I am not sure. I know that there are a few small regional airlines and Amazon that fly in regularly, but for big airlines, none as of yet. I have heard that there are talks of bigger airlines (specifically American Airlines) coming, but no deal has been made yet. Hope this helps, A friendly pilot named Nich
I'm not sure what exactly is flown out of this airport but do you think it was a V-22 Osprey?
Admission is $40 online, $50 at gate. Couple slices of pizza and large soda is $15
I am not sure. Normally It should happens in April (Sun and Fun fly in), but I have not heard anything about it.
Yes
Do you have flights for and from watertown new York? If so what airline services this routing?
Call international aero academy Monday morning around 9:00 am talk to steve markhoff the owner.
Yes, at the sheltair located next to the main building. Call ahead because the number of available rentals is limited.
Yes, there is a dedicated parking area with golf cart shuttle to the admissions gate. Mobility scooters are for rent at the admission gate as well.
They don't have an airline
No major airline but private, corporate, and charter by prior notice to allow custom's to be present for arrival
They do not have commercial flights, only private.
If you charter a flight. There is no regular commercial service.
YOU LIVE BY A LARGE AIRPORT. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? IF YOU LIVED BY A TRAIN TRACK , WOULDN'T YOU YOU EXPECT TO HEAR TRAINS? MOVE IF YOU ARE AGAINST HEARING THE NOISE.
This is from Wikipedia: In the late 1980s, it was again renamed as Lakeland Linder Regional Airport for local businessman Paul Scott Linder. Linder had founded Lakeland-based Linder Industrial Machinery, a multimillion-dollar heavy construction machinery company, in 1953. The Chairman of the Lakeland Economic Development Council, Linder was also director of the Florida Council of 100, the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Council of Economic Education. He was named Florida’s Free Enterpriser of the Year in 1988, received a Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Florida, and was named 1989 Florida Entrepreneur of the Year. Paul Scott Linder died on November 11, 1990.
