Doctor never wants to talk with patients. Stay away from Dr. Ruben Hernandez. I called the office for a medication change three days ago and I asked to talked to Mr. Hernandez. They said the only thing they can do is sent a message to him. Three days later in the morning a nurse call me from Mr. Hernandez clinic meaning that there is no new prescription. Soon after I called back the office so I can talk to him . The girl in the office said she can sent a massage or make an appointment to see Mr. Hernandez in 3 weeks, I said I need a phone appointment today which is important. so i can talk to him. She never got the message . I said forget it and the last thing she said "Do you still want me to send a message to the doctor? I just Hang up. Soon after I called High desert medical group member services to complaint . Nice member service representative help me with the situation and she said will report this problem. Right after in the afternoon some one call me from Mr.Hernandez office to set up an phone appointment to talk to the doctor over phone the same day. But my decision was totally right and I said no thanks I will look for a new Doctor. Its hard to start over again. Sad but now I'm searching for a new primary doctor, Beware

This is the worst doctor's office in Los Angeles county. Their office don't put authorizations through, when you call them out they put the blame on you. Or you get MRI's done, that they finally put authorizations through for after calling them constantly, and when you call back after you done them and they have the result they can't find it. It is a piss poor excuse for a doctor's office. And if you have too many health problems, don't go there, they can't handle the load. I have been stuck 8 Weeks with an infection and rather went to the ER. They don't even send you to doctor's close by your home, they wanted to send me to orthopedic specialist near Glendale....I live in Lancaster! Poor service and the office manager has a tone in her voice that just tells you right off the bat, she don't care.

Itsa ok medical office. The only thing I absolutely hate is there phone service. They turn off there phones 1 hr before lunch. And never received calls after 1. And there alternative number, they ignore. So how am I suppose to make a follow up appointment!?
