Very good experience here with the Baptism of our youngest granddaughter. The Priest was surprisingly warm, friendly, caring and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.

If you crave the solemnity of the traditional Latin mass, this small chapel is for you. Friendly and welcoming parishioners.

A beautiful little Parish to celebrate the traditional (Latin) Mass. I know the SSPX's irregular canonical status can be controversial to some modern Catholics but for me personally, attending one of the Masses offered by the SSPX, witnessing the great love and care given to the sacrifice of our Lord in the Mass, and hearing the phenomenal preaching offered by the various preists on the truths of the Catholic faith stirred up a fervor for our Lord and conversion in my heart that I had not experienced while attending other Novus Ordo parishes for over 8 years. If you have any interest in attending the Latin Mass or in deepening your Catholic faith I would encourage you to meet with the priest at this Parish, or their sister Parish in Arcadia (Our Lady of the Angels).

Came here once for mass about a year ago. It's very close to where I live. The time and location were very convenient. The name threw me for a loop, though. Because it is called Maria Stella Maris, I got the impression that it was a Latin Mass ministry under the auspices of the local Roman Catholic parish, Mary Star of the Sea on 7th Street and not a location owned and run by the SSPX. Regardless, the service itself was beautiful and I would like to see what I saw there return to the Roman Catholic Church at large and not just be preserved by small groups such as this one.
