Everyone involved at this church is very sweet, but it is quite lacking. If you are looking for a very devout church, you will not find it here. The priest wanders around Langley wearing tourist clothes and is rarely seen wearing his clergy outfit. I know that to some this may seem unnecessary and that's alright, but most people who are serious about their religion would find this offensive (the whole purpose of priests wearing those is to show the public that they are with the Church, and be made to face scrutiny of those who don't approve). I took RE classes there for many years and learned practically nothing. I went there from kindergarten until middle school; the priest rarely was involved and we were never taught anything about Jesus coming back, or how to look up scriptures in the Bible. It wasn't until I went to a protestant school where I learned these things, which is pretty bad because it probably made the protestants think that Catholics just don't teach those things. I am no longer religious so I don't really care about these issues, but I figure that whoever is looking at these reviews would care.
