All Washed Up Laundromat

Great range of hours open. Usually clean inside. Machinery is older but works. Cost of water in Langley means higher overall cost for laundry facilities, yet is only facility on South Island. Coin exchange machine usually works, have experienced it as 'out of order' twice. Best to bring own quarters just in case. Bathroom outside doesn't lock, is rarely clean, usually out of toilet paper and frequently out of order... Since it's the only laundry facility option available on South Whidbey, I am thankful for it's availability.

(As reported by a friend on Whidbey Island Community Facebook group. "So frustrated with the All Washed Up Laundromat in Langley. The machines are frequently broken, never cleaned, eat my quarters, among other things. Today I went in there to do my laundry and this woman had been dealing with a washer that wouldn't stop spinning for quite a while. She called and left messages and no one returned her call. She finally went to City Hall, who then called the police, who then got in touch with the owner. The owner showed up and with not even a hello or I'm sorry, went about angrily trying to deal with it and somewhat pass blame to the woman, all while complaining about how much it would cost to fix. I was quite fed up and confronted him about the machines. I also asked how often they get cleaned. "Every 2 days" he said. When I explained that I wash out the trays because they are FILLED with detergent, his comment - "people use too much detergent." I then showed him the photos I took and asked him if the black mold really grew in only two days, his comment - "well I don't wash in there!" He told me to go somewhere else if I didn't like it there."

The change machine and more than half of the washing machines have out of order signs on them. One family was using all of the available machines at 7:15am. I'm going elsewhere.

Been doing laundry here ,on and off, since 2008 Owners have purchased a few new machines,and its clean and there is access to a toilet. Grateful for this establishment.
