The valley Greek festival is one of the best. It never disappoints. Terrific food and lots of Greek dancing to a fabulous band. It is always Memorial weekend. Mark your next year's calendar.

The Valley Greek Festival is always 3 days of the Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. It is terrific, delicious Greek food, Live Music, dancing, shopping, games, FUN!
Yes, weddings take place at the church fairly often. They also have a ballroom they rent out for receptions. Call the church office with any questions. Their number is on the church website.
Linda, yes, please contact the church directly. Their number is on their website. As for communion, my understanding is that you need to be a baptised Orthodox Christian in order to partake (that's the Greek Orthodox Church rules for every orthodox church, not just a St. Nicholas rule). If you're an Orthodox Christian (Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox etc.) you can have the communion there anytime. Although it is recommended that you have done some fasting and a confession beforehand. But that's also up to you. If you don't feel like you have any big burdens on your soul that needs confessing, you can take communion without those steps. The priests are both extremely nice and approachable and I'm sure they'll be happy to guide you in all your questions. Glad you like the church! My family goes there too!
