The course was in pretty good shape especially in this most recent heat wave and we think the new owners are doing a great job in getting the course in its best shape in years. We don't get the chance to get out much because of our work schedule but when we do, the pinelands was one of our favorite courses up until today. Today when we arrived and found out there were no coolers allowed on the course. The heat index was 103 and all we had in our cooler was water and we tried showing everyone that's all we were carrying, no beer, no hard liquor just water to keep us hydrated. But they were adamant about not allowing us to bring our cooler filled with water on the course. They offered us plastic bags with ice that melted by the third hole and water all over the cart. It wouldn't have been so bad if they had some water on the course or a beverage girl riding around like most other golf courses it would have helped to keep us hydrated on such a hot day and by the fifth hole our water started to get warm. I don't normally write reviews but I think the Pinelands cooler policy absolutely stinks and we won't be back as long as it's in place. A complete joke!!

I played at Pinelands on Saturday and had a great time. The course is in great shape and worth the money. They have a friendly ranger that goes around to keep up the pace of play. We, as a foursome finished in 4 hours. The food was great, the staff was friendly and polite plus there was live entertainment outside as well. I will be going back.

The course is in good shape. Pace of play can be an issue (if it’s your first few times on a course.. at least be courteous and speed up. The ranger tries to enforce it but can’t solve it all the time). Biggest pet peeve.. no coolers even for ice and water on a 90+ degree day? That’s absurd. You can check bags to make sure there’s no alcohol. But on a hot muggy day to not allow it is ludicrous.

The course was nice. The staff was great. They are doing a bunch of work that will make this a great place to play. The only draw back was the pace of play and the lack of course rangers to keep things moving. We will definitely be back.
