Switched from media com as zito sales rep said I'd be getting 1 gig speed. no Brainer as I was getting 470 mbps with media com. Install was horrible as they left a mess all over my yard and took the whole time slot from 1 to 5pm to get it set up. then I check my speed is at 360. I pay for 1 gig I should get 1 gig speed. Talking to my attorney about false advertising. Have made a call to zito in Penn a ticket was made for my complaint but reading the rest of the reviews here I doubt anything will happen. This company shouldn't be allowed to operate in this area. terrible. Not impressed with Zito....

Had issues with the modem and landline in late May/early June and it took them AGES to fix it (we went two weeks without internet service, while living in an area with limited cell signal, which could be massive issue if an emergency happened). After fighting with them to get a work order placed and spending hours on the phone with them, two weeks later they told us it was a remote fix. Minutes after that call ended, the modem was functional again. Problem solved, right? Nope. A month and a half later they send someone out (unannounced) to complete the work order that was placed in early June. I am not entirely sure what happened on their end, but why would a company a) not clear out a work order after the problem was fixed, or b) not follow through on a work order until over a month had passed?? Not sure how Zito is still in business, avoid them at all costs.

I inquired about services about two years ago and because of the slow response I decided not to sign up for service. A couple months ago I moved away from the address where I inquired about service, and a few weeks ago I received a bill for service that began AFTER I moved away! I have made multiple calls to customer service and their representatives were unable to help me, insisting they needed to escalate the issue to a supervisor who then never called me back. I'm still receiving bills and I will bring the full force of the law down on this company if this negatively impacts my credit score. Edit (May 2022): I FINALLY got all charges removed, but only after I got the MN Attorney General's office involved.

Zito media put a voicemail on my phone, without notifying me. I had 40 messages that I had no idea about until I got a new phone that told me “you have voice messages on this line”. So surely I can call customer service and resolve this issue and have voicemail removed. January 12, I called to have voicemail removed, the next day, they disconnected my phone. I called back and customer service rep said “we can’t actually separate voicemail from the phone line, so we will let it ring forever and the voicemail won’t pick up”. OK, a week later I still don’t have a phone line, and calls go straight to voicemail. I call 3rd time, a neighbor attempts to help by giving me the phone number for the local company in Two Harbors. Well this phone number also goes to India. I get transferred, 2 hour phone call, they apologize, gave me a new ticket number. The 4th call, today 1/28, I still don’t have a working landline, and calls go straight to voicemail. I asked to speak with a supervisor and what sounded like a little girl- Kayla gets defensive and says “don’t be rude I’m trying to help you”, and claimed there was “no supervisor available”. I shoot from the hip and tell them exactly what’s wrong, but that hurts their feelings. ZITO acts like they are the only phone company on earth and we are at their mercy. Each time you call customer service, you will get a new story as I have. If you like story telling, this is the company for you. ZITO may look like a good deal, but it will cost you! You will *pay* for the *privilege* of their service. (The only reason they get one star is because I can’t give them no stars)
