I hope to never buy from here again. Two times I’ve gone to the Riverside shop and two times had to convince employees to help me out. I’m new to woodworking and my questions seem to annoy the employees. Ultimately they pushed me to buy the wood they wanted to sell me not the word I wanted to buy. Perhaps this place is acceptable for someone who knows what they want, but if you’re new to woodworking or want to have a conversation with someone, this is not the place for you. Employees spent more time on their phones and chatting with each other then helping me. The only reason they acknowledge my presence when I walked into the store was because I greeted them. Absolutely unacceptable experience that I hope to never have again.

Reel Lumber is amazing! They have so many different types of wood and the staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are also great, especially for specialty or decorative pieces compared to home depot or lowes (if you can even find those woods there). I use them all the time for making decorative cutting boards, wind chimes, and the like. Highly recommended!

Masks and social distancing. It's a big place with not too many people at one time. Great customer service!
Robert, we stock over a dozen species of exotic hardwood in different thicknesses. We stock species such as Purple Heart, Zebrawood, Padouk, Teak etc.
No fence boards. Mainly just hardwood boards, plywood/sheets, and very limited softwood lumber
They will cut the length, but not the width unless it's plywood.
When I visit, it is normally on a Saturday, and I have been there until 4 in the past. Maybe they are busy and you got the standard answering machine, or maybe they had an emergency and had to close early today. My suggestion would be to contact them directly instead of asking them here where they probably will not see it.
