I gave blood on the Riverside City College campus and had asked them, how could I get my blood type? They had told me I had to call and get it. I called, and the representative told me I have to come in because they don’t disclose that type of information over the phone in a somewhat rude way. Why didn’t they tell me this information when I asked them on campus? How did they not know this and they work for them? I’m going into the location but they need to disclose the right information to people they’re getting blood from.

I donate here regularly and the staff is thoughtful, kind, attentive, and thorough. I feel like it’s my second home! I’d recommend it to anyone who is considering making a blood donation.

Apparently if you're not a regular at this location, you are treated as an outcast and the environment becomes very negative. It seems as though you are bothering them and they want nothing to do with you. They whisper to each other about you and give attitude when you have any questions. Some of the women were nice, but seemed nice once we were leaving. I would suggest not going to this location unless you know the people on a personal level beforehand since they obviously favor some and discriminate others.

I won't donate another drop of blood because they constantly call and harang you on your donor date. When I'm ready, I'll donate. They call every frign day and leave blank messages on my voicemail. Vampire level tenacity makes me think someone is profiting on this business. I'll donate in LA but not here, I even blocked their number and they use different numbers calling. I didn't know I had X Factor Superman blood,,, am I the one that saves the human race? Me? I'm the chosen one...and so I have been called upon... I alone have the blood that will save the entire human race! Good snacks...though, if I'm saving the human race, me alone, I want a burger. Is that too much to ask of your new leader?

If you feel like YOU are able to donate @LS. I would recommend to be at the door at 7:00am when this place opens. Michelle at the desk will help you get started;
LifeStream is an independent, nonprofit, local blood bank. LifeStream provides blood products and services to more than 80 Southern California hospitals. ARC is a national disaster relief organization, and blood donation is among the services that it conducts nationwide.
No, this is volunteer donations. Sometimes they have promotions and you get gift cards and shirts or other things
It's a donation center. You might get a gift card or free sandwiches depending on what they're handing out that day but, no money
Yes, as long as they were done professionally and are fully healed.
They don't pay my payment is knowing my donation saves 3 different lives every time I donate amen.
Livestream is a donation center. You can save up to 3 adults or 8 babies in one donation. They do not pay but you can earn rewards and sometimes they have promotions.
Sometimes they give an awesome t-shirt! Other times you receive the joy of giving blood. Free chips, soda, juice and water given.
No payment at Lifestream. Just the joy of donating blood to help people. Sometimes they give you a t-shirt. A drivers license or i.d. is required.
No donating doesn't cost a thing, and they are not allowed to pay you anything by law if it is used to aid others. If it is a research study then they are allowed to compensate for time and travel. But i have never seen life stream ever collect for. Research.
