A beautiful place to visit. Great gift shop. Best pumpkin bread. Better than mine. Plus they also have candy brittle. All the sisters there are so nice.

The little loaves of pumpkin bread, handmade by the resident nuns and sold in their gift shop, is something you must try as part of the LA experience. They're moist, don't fall apart, and taste like a superior spice cake. (The pumpkin itself just bulks the bread up and has no discernible flavor.) Great to spread with whip creamcheese. Best to pre-order online and pick up, rather than going by and chancing they may be sold out.

The pumpkin bread is the bomb... we have been buying it for years ..this year we ordered eight loafs online .. picking up tomorrow. but I need I think three more that's how good it is. We put cream cheese on it but it's great just by itself.

A beautiful small mid-century modern church tucked in to peaceful surrounding grounds. The Sisters make delicious products that are for sell at a walk-up window. I love their pumpkin bread. If you want a nice treat consider buying from them, as it is a great way to support a their sisterhood, where they constantly have someone praying.

The chapel is open from 5:30 am to 5:00 pm. There is mass at 7:00 am, and Liturgy of the Hours at various times throughout the day. This is a cloistered monastery, so the chapel is divided and you can't really see the sisters, but you can hear their prayers and singing. It's a peaceful and beautiful place.
Monastery confession is only for the nuns. Confession for prayer group, 1st Saturday & 1st Sunday of the month, needs to contact with the prayer group leader.
