I highly recommend Dr. Rany Woo and the team at the Laser Eye Center! From the initial consultation to the day of the operation and all follow-up visits, the team of doctors and staff were always professional, informative and helpful. They had my health and well-being as their top priority and never pressured me on price or doing a procedure I wasn't comfortable with. They did a full eye health examination at my initial consultation and showed me a video explaining how the procedures work. Based on my eye health, I was a good candidate for PRK. They also explained the CONTOURA procedure, which I decided to get. On the day of my procedure, the team completed another thorough eye exam to ensure there were no issues, and I'm glad they did! They spotted an anomaly on my eye (dry spot on my already thin cornea) that was not present during my initial consultation. Dr. Woo explained the situation to me and sent me home with some instructions for how to stay hydrated and use artificial tears to see if the anomaly would go away. I followed the Doctor's orders and was able to reschedule my operation on a convenient date. When I came back, they did a thorough eye exam again and I was cleared for PRK with CONTOURA. The procedure itself probably took no more than 10 minutes for both eyes and I had ZERO discomfort or pain. I was sent home with medicated eye drops and pain relief medication in my after care kit. The recovery for PRK was just as the team had explained to me and not bad at all. Check-ups appointments were quick and let me know that my eyes were healing properly without any infections. My vision is better than it ever was with glasses or contacts. I'm so glad I got PRK with Dr. Woo and the team at Laser Eye Center!
