In a word: okra. Nobody gets it right, but these folks do! Crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, not mushy. This was my first time ordering here. My first impression was it's not "real" bbq... not off the grill or slathered in sauce. But you get to put your preferred type and amount of sauce on, so I appreciate that. The meat, (I got chicken and sausage) was incredibly tender! No complaints. I'll order from here again.

You have to go here! The food is delicious!! The menu has SO many choices! It was the best bbq I have ever eaten. So was the fried okra. You even get free vanilla soft serve ice free that's free! Thanks M. T. For being so friendly. All the employees were friendly. :-)

Wow!! Just wow!!! I walked in and was greeted immediately! The restaurant is so clean and organized. The bathroom was very clean and fresh. Now to the food, I ordered the Old School Plate which featured Brisket and Kielbasa. I chose the Jalepeno Cheddar Kielbasa which is so spicy and juicy it's mouthwatering! I got the Jalepeno Beans and Baked Potato Casserole which were both delicious! I want to highlight Essence and Aaron for the top tier customer service!!!! They are the best and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot to everyone!!! Tell a friend to tell a friend!

Amazing service and it is black-owned. Owner was sitting in and greeted us. The food was good but a order of sides only would have sufficed! Flavor and I do not eat everyone green beans. The workers were friendly. Ambience was calm. Try them out!
