I feel they focus on the wrong families. They focus where they can get income but refuse to focus on cases where a child’s body speaks for its self. Every parent struggles in their own way. They should have new Regulations. A child should be able to decide where they want to be children know at a young age who treats them well. The employees need to be re trained to what is normal in a house hold or have to be evaluated and or replaced . Three deaths same county, poor regulations, lazy employees. Worst city to live, but because they have the worst system in this county. Fix the system, help the kids, build the county. It’s not about the money it’s about saving Children’s lives.

Be careful these people will lie to you just to try to take your children the supervisor lie the workers lie they lie just to trick you they violated my civil rights I am battling cancer and all these people can think of is trying to hurt your children these people love hurting children they do this for a living They tear young mothers down beat them down instead of building them up please be careful of these people are demons from hell. They literally will take a perfectly good mother and tear her household up because the state needs money Watch this lawsuit they bout to be slept with.

This is the biggest bunch of criminals ive ever seen outside of the prison system. Compulsive liars, a rigged system where innocent parents have their children stripped from them while abusive parents recieve their kids back and you see them on the news dead later. Its nothing but a corrupt money game and this particular office needs shut down and many of the employees need tried for criminal charges. Just a fyi, my 2 year old was molested in foster care and these damn people along with the detective involved swept it under the rug.

This place is very corrupt and do not care about the best interest of any child only their pockets. If you have a run in with DCFS or they come to your door don''t open it unless they have a warrant or court order even if they bring a cop with them. Inform them they are trespassing on private property and say no more. Get a good private attorney and advocate on your side and only make contact with them through court. There are plenty of resources in your community do not let them intimidate you. Also they are not allowed to remove your child or children unless they have a court order other than that they have no right or authority to take them. Document every interaction with DCFS or anything related to your case (your progress, classes, drug testing etc). I have noticed social media can also be your best advocate if you find yourself in a unfair position make a video and blast it on the web many will reach out to you and offer you guidance !!! Stay Strong if you are in this position and remember to never give up your kids are so very worth it.

If your child lacks age appropriate safety awareness, often places self in Potentially hazardous and unsafe situations like darting into the street without scanning for traffic, placing small inedible object in mouth and is at risk for gagging and choking, or throws things(an iron, pan, radio, glass bottle) out of 2nd floor window placing others at risk for injury, etc.,then the child requires close supervision during waking hours. kids who exhibit poor safety awareness usually have an intellectual disability and attend Special Ed class at school or they could have a mental health disorder like ADHD. Either way, you know your kid better than anyone else and you most likely know what the problem is and just need to come to grip with that and get in-home support services in place to keep your kid at home. The county and state will provide the services you need so your child can continue to live at home safely. Contact the North LA County Regional Center in Van Nuys to get your child

Have your social worker check with the eligibility worker on the case. Each case is different. Typical is 45 days.
