Our family started attending this church in the early 1960s. With the hippie movement, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, San Francisco and all the problems during the '60s and '70s it was amazing to watch this church and it's family go through such times and come out beautiful. Jesus touched many lives. I remember several of us families going to mare island and meeting the Vietnamese coming in on the US Navy ships. I remember Late Great Planet Earth, by Hal Lindsey. He called Pastor Sands and said his book was inside four large trucks and nobody would take them. He came up to the church for two weeks and sold every truckload out. Then I saw him on TBN and his book went around the world. We were bless ed to grow up as kids in a church that really stood strong during some real testing times. My first job was at the Hilltop Manor restaurant which sits with the senior living apartments there. 1977 I entered into the United States Marine Corps. I have visited the church over the years and my sister has been a member there ever since. I just love this place and yet so often I have trouble getting there because I live in southern California in life goes on but this is a great church for any and all. Lamentations 3 18 to 28. I will sing of your greatness each and every morning Lord.

They will not allow law abiding citizens sky watch or star gaze. Astronomy is a crime here.

Fantastic community. They are very welcoming. The pastor and all the staff are great and caring people. Services are worshipful and messages are grounded in the Bible.

My family and I have been attending this church for the past 6+ years. It is the right place for me and my family. We have great friends and the pastor isn't afraid to say what needs to be said. I don't know where Judy G gets the hostility towards the Catholic Church from (unless she over heard it from specific people, and I'm sorry that you had to experience that), but I've never once felt like like Church on the Hill was hostile towards the Catholic church (unless you count some theological disagreements as hostility ... which in this day and age, if you disagree with anyone, for any reason, you're branded as hostile and hateful).

You can always try calling the number to be sure, but a friend of ours had a birthday party there though they were already a member of the church.
Could you message me Yvonne please
