The 5 stars are specifically due to the efforts and follow through of Eric. Had I rated Daniel and Elenor, it would have been zero. Since April of this year, I have been trying to get simple questions answered about property I own there. For months I have been put off, lied to, and ignored by Elenor and Daniel. They would say they were looking into things, and wouldn't get back to me. Every interaction was initiated by me. It wasn't until i contacted Eric that professionalism and actual results entered the picture. I don't want to write a book here about my experience (although I could), but Daniel and Elenor are the perfect example of what you shouldn't do when servicing the public. From ignoring a client, to blatantly lying, to sending texts to me by mistake (which were insulting), to their inability or unwillingness to find a file for months, to speaking to me in a pompous and demeaning way...they failed in their jobs. Thank heavens Eric stepped in. Not only did he answer and resolve the issue, he also kept me informed throughout. That's all people want. I realize mistakes happen. We are imperfect people. What shows your integrity is how you correct. While Daniel and Elenor's integrity is now in question, Eric's integrity is well intact and celebrated by this family. It's hard enough when you're dealing with a business like CoC. It's usually a trying time and emotionally charged. The last thing you need is people not willing to do their jobs and causing more problems by their actions/inactions. Thank you, Eric, for your commitment, integrity, and your strong problem-solving skills. I will never be able to thank you enough. Chapel of the Chimes should acknowledge you for all these qualities that you perform on their behalf. It's people like you that keep CoC going.

We have had a bad experience there. If we could give this a negative it would definitely have a negative next to it. The service was nice, however we were charged for services that did not happen. No one knew what the other one was doing when it came to trying to pay off the funeral and service. Once we finally got it paid off later we get a bill saying we owed more money, even though we were told everything was paid in full. My sister in law has been trying to reach Nicolette there and she does not respond back to emails since their meeting nor texts. Spoke to Adrianna at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward and she will be sending an email to Jody Harrington the Manager. So we will see what the results is .. We buried my mother in law on 6/29/2022 and still no answers

This has got to be one of the worst experiences my family has ever had. All 3 people from Shirley (arranger), Rose (Supervisor) and William (General Manager) has provided us with lack of misinformation/non-information, unprofessionalism and sense of urgency. Be careful on choosing this place. You might as well do the work yourself because they won’t really try. Their job is to handle this part of our tragic situation but I basically had to do their job. They basically will not provide you with current information/lack of information, unprofessional in understanding the situation and have no sense of urgency for your family. They presented us a solution of having NO BODY at our viewing/service instead of trying to solve the problem which I had to do myself. You will be spending a lot of money on this place when they will basically not do the work. Clean up ? Where? You looted all the things loved ones left.. we left reviews , tried to call, when I tried to explain how upset we are she hung up on me. Eric never returned calls.. I tried a number on a business card that was given to my daughter when she went down there and the voicemail is full. She could not look for our belongings as there was piles with broken items It was horrible.. fast forward to today. We expected nice clean grounds. Not we’re we wrong. Grass not mowed , trash all over , the trash cans over flowing… yet this is how management thinks they will sell plots. A dirty ghost town. It looks horrible with no flowers. We have had family there over 40 years. Never have we seen this.. so sad. Where it was once a beautiful,full of flowers and love place … to the disrespect we see. And to throw away all the flags left on Labor Day… chapel of the chimes you should be ashamed
