March 2022. Ever since the new company (Oakmont) took over, this place has been a mess. They have been firing great workers left and right, the food is awful, and the licensing department has been visiting this place frequently in the past two months (because there have been too many complaints (short of staff)). The building and the outdoor spaces look nice, but that is as good as it gets. You want quality? I suggest you find some other place.

Sunrise villa is a beautiful facility, but don't let the pretty decor fool you, I would rate this 0 stars if I could! The management in this assisted living are extremely horrible and rude , they pretend to care for you're loved ones but in reality they don't care . The food they serve is nasty and it's repetitive . There's about 2 or 3 rude caregivers who work here.. if you care for you're loved ones don't bring them here !!!!!!!

Sun Rise is a place where I will feel comfortable to let my family or suggest to my friends' families to live at. I am currently a student who is studying aging management, and I had an opportunity to visit Sun Rise. My first impression is this place does not look like a senior facility. Instead, this facility is very well taken care of and it felt like home. The entrance is very welcoming. It is a place that I would want to live in. They also have great service operation. During my visit many of staffs that saw me on a tour greeted me, and welcomed me. Additionally, the staff that took me around was able to identify all residence by their first name. Having caring staffs is definitely one of the things I will be looking for when seeking a facility for my elderlies. One of the residences also spoke with me during my tour and told me how nice this facility is. It is my pleasure to rate them 5/5.

After Grandview Palms was sold to Vintage, I was informed that my husband's rent in the VIP unit would be increased by $2000/month! The staff was gradually being replaced, and the care and upkeep were going downhill. I had to report ants in the bathroom four times before the condition was remedied. I was finding my husband in bed whenever I came to visit rather than up and involved in an activity. I have moved him to a new facility where his activity level has markedly increased.
