Nice wine tasting room in downtown Santa Cruz with a number of interesting varietals from all over California. There are sparkling, whites, rosés, and reds to choose from. Tasting flights consist of 3 varietals each, grouped by sparkling, mixed (whites, rosés, and reds), and only reds. Wine by the glass is available for consumption on premises, but not bottles. Indoor and outdoor tasting is available. Reservations are not required.

Wines with a lighter European flare! We've been visiting since Birichino opened in Santa Cruz. Birichino had consistent quality in their wine making, always a pleasure to visit.

We are in love with the Birichino Tasting Room, and of course, their gorgeous wines. We first visited in fall 2019 to see what all the buzz was about with their exceptional vineyard management, preservation of historic land, and commitment to the ever-evolving definition of natural wine. After that visit we became Wine Club members! We're out in Florida and now a few times a year, 12 stunning bottles of wine show up at our door to enjoy and remind us of those beautiful sunny days in Santa Cruz. This place is a must go and these folks are a must know.

Hi Kathleen- we currently have 2 Malvasia Biancas available-- a few remaining bottles of the 2016 still version, and then we are on to the 2017 still version, and we have the 2017 Pétulant Naturel Malvasia Bianca which is our lightly sparkling, cloudy, low-tech bubbly version available at our tasting room or through our online store shipped to one of the states we can legally ship: AK, AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, MI, MO, MN, NH, NV, NY, OH, OR, TX, VT, WA & D.C. Hi there we currently offer as of April 2019 a tasting flight of at least 5 wines for $10 (usually 1 or 2 extra added in) which we credit back upon purchase of 2 bottles. Thanks!
