Ok, first thing you care about in a restaurant is food. Their's was great diner food. As a personal issue, I LOVED that they don't over salt theirs, not too much and yet didn't feel the need to add more. As a result, you can taste the food and not just salt. And that is an issue I have been having lately as people try to mask lower quality ingredients with salt. The staff was great and the restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated with pictures of San Jose's history. Definitely go again.

Home feel including the staff. Feel like you are literally in grandma kitchen. Great bacon. Perfect eggs and the French toast was soooooo good. I came in on Mother’s Day and it was 3/4 and had great fast service and fast food

Great family diner with huge portions but reasonably priced. We ordered the Belgium waffle supreme and the pancake supreme that comes with eggs your way and meat of your choice. The bacon is yummy. I had hashbrowns instead of eggs. You will need a nap or a long walk after this hearty meal. Great staff who are super friendly and very attractive. A must stop whenever we are San Jose.
