This store is always on something.. wether it be the blonde middle age woman making me carry my own packages to the back bc “they were too big for her” (a 8-12lb package) or it be them having one single employee taking 8-9 minutes on each customer.. or it be the employees that sigh and scoff when i ask for my receipt like i don’t have customers it pretains too.. In a simple statement use elgin Ups.

this ups are thieves, they steal the boxes and of course they wash their hands and nobody answers anything.. the worst store where you can make a shipment, I made a shipment of a box and the box was never delivered, I go every day to see what they solve with my claim and it seems that the employees make fun of me. It's almost a month now and every day they tell me that I have to wait for UPS to call me, but when I call ups they tell me that the answer lies with the UPS store. my box was valued at almost $2000 and it seems that I will not have an answer to my claim and I will lose my money. NEVER SHIP THROUGH UPS AND MUCH LESS THROUGH THIS UPS STORE.

The former owners have sold the business. I have been reading some of these reviews and I have to tell you many of them are total lies. I have been going there for years and the owners and employees have always been courteous which is why I keep going back. Somebody said that a person said we have not checked our emails in weeks? That’s total nonsense. They have always gone out of their way to help. I wish them success and whatever they have chosen to do after leaving the store and I hope the new owners can be as good as the former ones were. And I also hope those people who wrote these ridiculous and showing negative comments get some professional help.

UPS sent a bar code to me noting I should show the code to the store and they can scan and ship it for me. When I showed the code to the lady at the counter, she said, seemed rather annoyed, 'I cant scan the code, you need to print the label out'. I pointed out UPS sent me this code and instruction. She replied 'I cannot scan from your phone, you can forward the email to us and we can print put the code for $2 dollars'. Not sure what her problem was, I took the package to another UPS store just 2 miles away from this one. They scanned and shipped it for me without any problem. There are 3 UPS stores in this area. If the shop or its associate is not in the mood of doing business, they can close it right away. And I am happy to help them achieving that goal by not doing any business with them any longer.
