It's a very good place to shop. I don't think I've ever been anywhere with more products than Gateway Overlook!

Will definitely visit again. Hopefully the couple of Karens we encountered - one that followed my kids as we explored the hallway leading to the indoor pool - was a guest and not an employee, the other unfortunately seemed to be the maitre de of the restaurant there (resembled Cruella de Ville). Other than that, the property is located on the best spot - just at the very end of the boardwalk towards the north. Away from the maddening crowds. Hotel was well kept and all other staff was very professional.

The street surrounding the parking lot isn't laid out well and doesn't help the bad drivers in Columbia. I'm surprised there isn't more accidents. But its mostly clean and I haven't seen any panhandling. The lots themselves are fine.

The traffic pattern makes it hard to get in and out when it's very busy on weekends. Costco gas station line also blocks an entrance/exit.
