I want to say thank you Trent and all of the staff! My dog had trouble socializing again and with walking on a leash. He would lunge towards other dogs and bark uncontrollably. I felt so helpless trying to get his attention again and stop him from barking. He is now walking by my side, friendly with other dogs and people.

Three stars because I believe they are good people who care about what they do, and they apparently have success with many dogs. Our experience was different, simply because we are not a good match for the "e-collar" that is at the core of the training we received. In case you do not know "e-collar" is a euphemism for shock collar. This was explained in the initial "consultation" (which we did over Zoom) but there were also sales tactics whose apparent goal was to get the potential customer to sign up during the initial consultation, and we ended up signing up (and paying) during the initial call because we were very concerned about our reactive dog. My suggestion for those considering Sit Means Sit is to research shock collars and decide whether those are an acceptable method for you and your dog before agreeing to the initial consultation. Another thing that bugged me about this place is that the contract included an agreement to NOT POST REVIEWS on social media etc until the training period is complete. The package we bought included a month of weekly in-office, day-long training, plus a year of available group training and "pack walks" which were actually quite helpful. So, now that our year is up and I am free to speak out, I wanted to share our experience with others. We have since moved on to a private trainer who generally does not use shock collars (though he believes they can be beneficial in certain situations) and have had much better success with our dog using that route.

This has been by far the best experience I've had and exceeded my expectations. Trent answered all my questions in the initial Zoom meeting. I've been encouraged to call or text when I had any questions outside of the scheduled training. The biggest tell is my puppy always being excited to go to training and happy to see Kyle and the rest of the trainers.

This is the best training place for reactive dogs. Mine couldn't go anywhere without pulling me down the street and barking at EVERYTHING. Now she has great leash manners and pays no attention to the chaos around her. I've also boarded her for long periods of time. I'm retired and travel from time to time. She gets to go out to play and shop and train. They can even get her to eat. Not always easy. Trent and all the staff is great.
