tl;dr - Great place to go if you like wasting time and money. Alternatively, I recommend going to Brentwood Medical Group. It’s worth the drive rather than wasting money at Pasadena Skin Boutique. I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews and generally like to give businesses the opportunity to rectify the issue beforehand. I’ve contacted this company many times and they refuse to refund me the 1/2 refund that they previously promised. I’ve been getting laser hair removal done for the last few years, and this has been the worst experience I’ve had by far. The person who performed the procedure was very polite and friendly, but unfortunately either the settings were not configured properly or the machine does not work, as the treated hair never fell out. During the session I mentioned that I was surprised it didn't hurt and explained how that usually indicates that the setting is too low. Rather than adjusting the settings, I was then told that the machine is designed to be "painless". LOL When I called for either a re-do session or a refund, they refused and said it was because it was my "first time" and immediate results are not expected. This excuse may have worked on someone who has never had laser before, but from experience I know that if the hair doesn't fall out, nothing happened. It takes several sessions for permanent hair reduction, but the hair should fall out after each session. A couple times in the past I had gone to a different med spa where a spot was missed, and when I called to let them know, they offered to go over the missed spot for free. This is not the case at Pasadena Skin Boutique. They finally offered a half refund at one point, but refused to honor that when I followed up. I told them that I was moving out of town so they would need to refund electronically, rather than me stopping by in person. There are so many ways they could have made this right, but instead they’ve been incredibly difficult to deal with and surprisingly rude. Previously, I was going to Brentwood Medical Group, but wanted to find something close to home. For anyone looking for a new spot, I recommend going there instead.

Never ever go to this place. Their service is terrible, their machine simply doesn't do its job. They set the settings in a way that you won't see any results unless you go there couple of times. The people doing the procedure apparently are not even aware of what they do, as if you ask a question about the procedure they simply don't know what to say. I requested a refund and tried to call them couple times and every time I would get an answer that they will call me back. Yeah right! You will waste your money, your health, your time and all the rest. I drove from other city to this place as I read the great reviews that they have, but this place is the worst place ever I had a chance to visit for doing laser procedure. If you don't know what to do with your money simply throw them in trash instead of going to this place. There is no way they try to support you. No option to write a claim, no option to talk to their doctor. Oh yeah by the way doctor doesn't even check you before they do the procedure. So do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and have never gotten laser before (out of fear & sensitivity), but I have shaved and waxed. I've dealt with the sensitivity, razor bumps, ingrown hairs- all that makes you insecure. This was my first time here to get laser and I am already obsessed! The staff is completely friendly, it's very private, and the nurse walked me through it step by step since I was scared and new. IT DIDN'T HURT AT ALL!! And the nurse did amazing at keeping me relaxed, making me feel comfortable, and having a great conversation. They also guide you on prepping for your appointment, and the after care. Beyond happy that I found this spot and can't wait for my next session!

Amazing results!!! I was so scared of going to get laser treatment and everyone around me knew it would be life changing if I just sucked it up and went! Well my friends kept telling me about Pasadena Skin Boutique and so I finally said Id give it a shot! All I can say is aaaaamazing! The place is in the most perfect adorable part of Pasadena... The owners are professional yet as friendly as it gets... The nurse is maticulous at not missing a single spot... The machine they use removed all fear I had of pain...the only thing I wish is that I'd come here sooner.
