Great produce and groceries but poor service. 4 checkers (one had just closed) standing around chit chatting while long lines. I asked if they could call another checker. No response. Maybe I picked the wrong time to shop. It was 1:15 pm.

Nice produce with trendy, eco-political packaged products. The occasional celeb pops up, but I prefer the prepared fresh-ish meals for $6-$11 near the check stands. Super staff, sometimes understocked (but who isn't?).

I like this market, but I ordered a sandwich at the deli at pasadena location I got the worst sandwich ever made by a non trained properly person.. it ve never happen before, deli personel did not intervine to correct the maker...too bad. Sandwiches are really good here.

I'm a current employee. They use enough staff to keep everything as bare bones as possible. Back room dirty af, men's bathroom is gross too. Can't imagine how unhealthy it must be for employees to be using the bathroom, then touch all of your food. Everyone used to have plenty of hours, management messes up, and to make up for the losses, they cut everyone's hours in half, except management. We were working 7.5 hours per shift, we're lucky to get 5.5. We're still expected to do the same things as before, just faster. Why work harder for them, if they're quick to cut our pay?
