Less and less, I still shop here for their prices, but the check-out process is *terrible* at times depending on the cashier -- just like the other nearby location. The young woman was so hateful and unfriendly and refused to converse on a civilized level. Hateful to the point of deliberate and rude. Same as other store, if you buy more than a few items, the customer behind in line starts pushing you out of the way like a stampede as the line builds up. So, unlike Vons you are hated if you buy a full cart... and when the customer in the next line was short on his credit card the manger said "Your card was declined!" loudly for everyone to clearly hear -- whereas in Vons the balance would have been quietly taken and she would ask for the remainder. Bottom line: Vons is a far superior experience than either local Smart & Final solely because the check-out experience is vastly superior and more professional at Vons. I hope S&F management makes *radical* changes as I am now increasingly avoiding them and I'm sure others are too -- even with these fluffy 5-star reviews.

I'm glad this store is still open, the one nearer to home closed and I love their fresh ground coffee. The cashier was very nice too. I'd bought pears and she told me about make pair compote and that it was very good on her oatmeal. Yum!

Great produce & decent meat department. I've even found that they carry some items that other markets don't. Great place to get stocked up on basics; from food to paper towels. If you need party supplies (plates, trays, napkins, bowls, serving utensils, etc.) this is a great place to get them. Finally great employees, everyone is friendly and helpful!

Plenty of parking. Good stop for small potted plants/succulents. Fresh cut flower selection is not as strong as other local stores. Better for large scale shopping but appropriate for some quick trips. Excellent produce - not my favorite shop for proteins. Friendly service. Great proximity to beach.
