When you need help from the clear Lake Police department they are really there for you just give them a chance and they have no problem with proven to you that they're great people and that really do look out for the community here in Clearlake California

My house and everything I owned was burned down by the PG&E wildfires in 2017. I bought a small travel trailer and have been spending time back and forth between friends and relatives houses and my travel trailer (weather permitting) since 2019 without a problem. 2 years ago Recover CA stepped in to assist on my rebuild. It is a long process with many steps. In March 2022 Clearlake code enforcement officer Lee Lambert decided could no longer stay in my travel trailer that is parked on my driveway on my property and has been fining me 5k to date for an "Abandoned Trailer'. This charge is false and the Clearlake police department refuses to give me a hearing. I have never seen such a corrupt police department.

The women who work dispatch are absolutely rude and have the worst attitudes when it comes to assisting citizens in emergent situations. The police don't show up to your home in emergencies (unless it has to do with a marijuana bust). They have one animal control officer(only on Monday - Friday). I recommend if you have a vicious animal or person on your property and you need help, forget calling the police station and utilize your second amendment rights. I don't see any tax dollars being spent in a proper manner. This dump doesn't even deserve a one star rating.

I agree with you. the PD is doing a good job !!
Quite unethical
Its easy to get away with crimes here, one of the highest unemployment percent in the state and no mental health help at all. Whether from drugs or hereditary there is a large number of mental health folks. No excuse at all but theres no one who will deal with it and nowhere to put them if arrested. Lake county is full and driving arrestees over seems to be an issue. We need another jail on this side of the lake thats half for druggies and mentally ill people and the other half ready to keep criminals in jail for a long time instead of slaps on the wrist
You may be able to check that online. Otherwise its best to go to DMV for that. But Im pretty sure you can check yourself. Just google "need to check a vin number" or pay for a carfax
I think at 5 pm ,I always try to get there by 3 pm to make sure that what business I have can be taken care of.
I tend to get dispatch when I call, and the response time has gotten better.
give them a call and let them know
ask them about it. that's a good question
I haven't heard anything about it
