I went to this store to send cash to my sister. Which I have done at least a dozen times I'm the last 2 years. And have been using this ups store for over a decade. I was never told cash CANT be sent. Or at least it's the policy of ups when someone buys a franchise. To inform customers that cash can't be sent. I have always grabbed a manilla envelope. Always in front of staff. I then have item shipped via ground. And label it as documents. As that is how ups has always told us how to have it labelled. And again, have always been us do. The time before my most recent experience,my wife was with me and said to the staff. Both the owner and her employee, that it was cash we were sending. Never did they say no cash. Never have they asked about insurance. The package disappeared. They had what was shown to me by ups franchise an email stating that since it was cash. No reimbursement of any kind would be made. Ups corporate sent the store owner documentation of approval for reimbursement. The store of course said to their bosses at franchise. It was cash. When I went to store to ask them to sign declaration of item. They acted as if they were going to be helpful and asked that they get names of any ups members claiming accuracy of reimbursement. So I got ups on the phone. Open speaker conversation was conducted between ups corporate and store owner. Email was given for store to receive documents through email. Store was cooperative. Until ups hung up. Then store owner became rude. Said that I was being untr untruthful. About them having any knowledge. When I said again. My wife was in the time before this incident. And told you it was cash. Towner then also denied memory of my wife being there. For clarification. We are in a small rural town. Most people interact a lot with each and store employees and owners. Many of us know each other by first name basis. My wife is know to all. Tattooed friendly attitude and drives a 1960 Cadillac DeVille. That's purple. Everyone including the owner knows her. A simple signature would get me back the $600 I lost. I'm sorry, ups lost. I'm disgusted that the store washes their hands once label is created and they make their money. Although ups corporate has been a bit more helpful and willing to talk to me. Tracking shows it disappeared at a ups hub store in Arizona. So if store isn't willing to fix problem. Since it was lost by ups. They should honor it. Or push store harder. Because this whole situation has made me realize that any employee or franchise owner can simply steal from us and there is absolutely no ramifications to anyone. I have lost all faith in ups and will never use any ups facility again. I'm now looking into a civil suit against store and ups. I have not only been robbed. But now my character and that was f my wife has been defamed by a ride unprofessional store owner that has no business running a store. Dogs running free behind the counter. And rude staff. Very disappointed ups. Franchise, although independently owned, are a leg of the ups company. One can not just wash hands of the other in a time of conflict.

Very rude and unprofessional service the two older women provide. I dread having to go in because I know that they treat the customers very bad here. Please owners if you see this please talk to the employees here about proper customer service and professionalism.

I was very disappointed- I shipped something costing $130.00 and they never delivered it. When we saw (from the tracking number) that it wasn’t delivered I called and asked the manager there for help. She said she would take care of it but I never heard back. I called for two days (she gave me dead end numbers to call) and she never solved the problem. Five days later it came back. I paid $130 for nothing! I took it to a different UPS store and it was less money (same package). They completely followed up to ensure delivery! I will never trust this Phelan store again.

Horrible. I had a package sent to someone local to this place through eBay. The buyer send it here so that he could pick it up at a later time. A signature was mandatory. The buyer picked up the package over a week ago and this place has not updated the tracking information and is trying to send the package back to me, which doesn't exist. I cannot get my payment from eBay without this UPS store doing their job correctly. I have called, I have left multiple emails begging for some kind of help and have been ignored. Very irritating.
