There's many nice views. But leaves things desired. No playground, dirt road to park. Mostly just open fields with a trailer that goes to an old farmstead.

They have been cleaning up the area and have added a new access with stairs and a switchback trail so its not such a steep walk to get down here. They are also putting in a bridge to connect to the Hurricane side. The river is really low but still so pretty. I love the old hydroelectric plant and feed silo. The lava formations are amazing. Its a great quick little trail.

LaVerkin Confluence Park is a lovely place for a walk or trail run. The newly-installed stairway down from upper LaVerkin makes access to the river much easier from the north side of the river on the southeast side of the park. There's quite a little network of trails, and the views of the river, black lava rock, and surrounding mountains are beautiful.

I can't give this 5 stars because there is too much debris and construction going on in the area. On a slight note the smell of sulphur is strong as you get in the area of the old power house and toward the South Entrance trail head. Otherwise we got in 4.2 miles of walking trying to hit most of the trails and dirt roads. Some very nice views and occasional wildlife and blooming claret cup cactus & assorted flowers.

On most of the trail you're on a road, some of it will be inaccessible for a wheel chair. Start on the north side and you'll be able to view most of the trail.
