I've been taking the Forever Fit classes and really enjoy them, I actually look forward to going to the gym now. It would be great if there were at least 3 of these classes a week, currently there are only 2, Monday and Friday. In lieu of that, a yoga class for seniors would be quite beneficial. We all really miss Tammy and Peter Paul's yoga classes. The yoga class now being held by Tish is too difficult for seniors with the continual up and down on the floor.

Today I had one to the most humiliating experiences at this gym. I usually don’t gym with these people because I’ve heard bad reviews; I have a membership at Crunch Fitness but that’s too far sometime, especially if I’m running late for work. A regular absentee friend of mine who pays full price for his membership here but never uses it personally ALLOWED me to use his login if I’m trying to get a quick workout in, maybe 3-4 a month is how often I use his membership given my busy work schedule. I’ve seen hundreds of other people do the same for YEARS and was under the complete impression that this was acceptable because I’ve been doing this for a long time and haven’t been approached once. Today, I was stopped at the door on my way OUT by a middle aged Indian woman and asked for ID on the account that the picture on their file didn’t match my face. She racially profiled me by asking if a brown person like me is Eric. After I explained to her the situation, she was adamant that we are not allowed to share login info, even if it’s RARE. It’s frustrating that some people get away with this just because they use the facial masks as a disguise. If you guys are saying that we can’t share memberships with other friends or family, you guys need to come up with a better plan to screen which one of your members are actually real. Maybe check EVERYONE’s ID when they scan in, and ask them to remove their masks so you can compare their pictures just as you did mine. The manager himself said that others use cartoons as their profile picture and share their information with other friends/family and get away with it, thereby highlighting their own company’s incompetence. Nonetheless, I felt personally targeted, harassed and discriminated against, especially when the lady who approached me in the beginning demanded I show her ID, even though she’s an entry level associate with no authority whatsoever. This brings into question the management’s capacity too; why can’t they come face their clients instead of sending female employees to do their dirty work. Regardless, when I cooperated and asked to open my own membership, the rude lady asked for my ID again. All the other members signing up and being helped in front of me were not asked for identification which shows the whole staff’s discriminatory nature. Next, I spoke to the supervisor on duty, and he continued to support the immoral action of the female employee; no sincere apology for the rude behavior was given, whatsoever. After all the humiliation I went through, I still asked for a membership because there’s no other gym close to where I live and I work full time so commuting to one farther is counterproductive. Eventually, the supervisor, ROOSEVELT, helped me sign up, but this is the part that’s interesting. He DID NOT ask for my ID or even look at it, though that’s what started all this chaos. Very hypocritical folks! If you demand and quote something from your policy and protocol, then please follow through! The rude lady whom I exposed in front of her colleagues continued giving me dirty looks and laughing to show she was unaffected; her red tomato cheeks indicating great embarrassment and fear showed otherwise. Overall a very bad experience, but I emerged as the bigger and triumphant person because I still got my membership, contained my raging anger AND maintained professionalism, something the employees of this gym really need to be trained on. I usually don’t post stuff like this because I find it a waste of time, but the treatment I received was purely unacceptable and warrants that I warn prospective members of what they are getting into. This is the first time I’ve seen an establishment target the very people looking to give them business and keep their profit going. Disappointed beyond words, especially because nobody gave me an apology or compensated me for the disrespectful and humiliating treatment I received.

Did my first spin class this evening. It was called Freestyle Ride. The class was taught by a guy named Ethan. He was a savage! I liked him....my legs hated him! 😛 We'll see if I have the guts to take another class.

I love when it opens up in the morning! nice and early! All the employees I have met have been extremely helpful and made my membership easier in all ways! First in helping me set up my application and showing me all the ropes they were very patient kind and very helpful. I love my yoga teacher her name is Betty it's a great class. The pool is clean it always is that's just the sauna in the morning! What a great way to start the day. I would love to be able to bring guests again. I know if I could bring my friends and they would join with me after they tried it! And with the joining fee of $69 waived for the moment it would be a simple task for me to bring many many more friends in! 😊 Once my doctor's release me to being able to use my body more I will be able to use the weights! There's such great energy there maybe it'll inspire me to become a 60-year-old bodybuilder! Ha! Have a wonderful day and thank you in shape and the staff. You have great energy and the place is filled with good energy as well! CHEERS!

It really depends, because there are promotions going on all the time. I pay 48$ a month but I use the towel service and I travel to different locations but there's no contract. Go to inShape Suisun and talk to the manager Ina. "Eena"
