Took our Golden to the splash pad night. They had the nicest facility!! So much room for the dogs to run around in, very clean and no broken toys/furniture. My golden had so much fun and I will definitely be signing her up for a day care session.

My Dog can be difficult because he is very timid. His first day was tough but the Animal Den gave him the benefit of the doubt and by the end of his stay I was told he was a different dog. I appreciate the Animal Den for taking their time with him and making sure he was safe. It is always difficult leaving our pets for a length of time especially when they are used to being around certain people. I will always use the Animal Den when they have availability.

My poor dog did not have a good experience here. They take too many dogs at once and the service is significantly negatively impacted by this. They blamed my well behaved pup for the stress behaviors she showed instead of on their own decision to overcrowd the room with other stressed out dogs. I purchased a package but when they reported my dog was behaving in a stressed manner, they would not credit back the remaining unused visits. I asked if they would work with me to help her get used to the environment since they wouldn’t credit back unused visits from the substantial package, but was told “She likely won’t learn to like this environment, this is just what she is.” This was bad business, I do not recommend.

Great day camp experience! Staff are well-trained and clearly attentive to monitoring dog behaviors, keeping things safe. Facilities seem clean (dog smelled good afterwards, always a plus) and I love the multiple indoor and outdoor play areas, including a little pool they can use. Good availability, nice central location, good value. They also give a detailed report card and some cute pics as well. Will be using their boarding facilities in the future too!

There are definitely long term affordable options. Call for details.
There it's a pet sanctuary on Folsom Blvd near 59th st don't bring then there with you it they will say the cats have someone (you) to look after then I would google them and then call.
No. This is a boarding facility for people who are going on vacation or need their pets out of the home temporarily. It is not an animal shelter.
Joyce, thank you for this suggestion and it is a great idea. We will look into getting some mats or something similar.
Hi Kasandra, our pools are not avaliable for the public to drop in and use. You must be set up with us as a client first. Our pools are avaliable to our boarding and daycare dogs as well as being available to our dog park clients. You can rent the pool for a private swim session in the future but it is not available at this time. We are planning to make the pools available for private swims again toward the end of this month or early August.
No, they also board cats. There is a swimming pool but it's only for dogs, naturally.
Front Street is the place to go but I would recommend a rescue first.
Yea call and ask. I'm sure they might have a groomer that does.
It is not heated. However SACRAMENTO has pretty great weather most of the year. The pool is available to rent year round. Visit our website for more pricing and details.
Yes but you can call them. Sometimes they can accept the same day depending how busy they are.
