KAISER PERMANENTE PORTER RANCH MEDICAL OFFICES ¹ are designed with the patient in mind. The well trained staff is friendly and helpful. A Covid protective mask is required for entry. The human-centric, minimalist decor has understandable signage, comfortable examination rooms, and convenient nurses' stations. Elevator supported, the multi-story facility contains several departments including: radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy. Eye examinations, and corrective lenses (sun, multifocal, specialty lenses and fashion frames) are available, just off the lobby, at Vision Essentials by Kaiser Permanente. Covid vaccinations are given in the lobby, near the pharmacy. After check-in you are directed to a comfortable waiting area. A patient waiting list appears on a large video screen. When your name changes color, the screen directs you to the location of your appointment. Details of your visit are not shown. All Kaiser Permanente facilities have electronic access to your medical records. There is no need to fill out separate documentation at each location. The examination room is designed patient centric. The exam table is surprisingly comfortable. You sit on it, as a chair with a supportive back. When required, the back folds into a flat table. As the medical provider (doctor, nurse, etc.) examines data or uses a laptop computer to add to your confidential medical record, it is also visible to you on a large video screen. This system also displays instructional videos, x-rays, and charts. Everything is ADA compliant. Lots of free parking. ¹ A branch of Kaiser Permanente's Woodland Hills Hospital

Great location; good services and very accessible but the parking is in the open field.. it’s very inconvenient if it rains and during mid summer, your car is smoldering with Heat - it’s dangerous to have a heat stroke!!! I wish they have a covered parking just like all other Kaisers .

The staff are super rude when members do not know how things work at this location. They have NO signs or instructions at all to indicate what your supposed to do. God forbid you ask one of the nurses, plebotomist, etc they speak to you like your a moron for not knowing.

The new Kaiser office is very nice and new. It's very open and is not sterile and imposing. They put a lot of effort into making this office "pretty" with their waiting area and glass windows everywhere. They have a lot of self check in kiosks right as you enter, then a person standing off to the side for even faster check ins. There is a receptionist there who will also check you in. The lines weren't long and the wait in the lobby was not long. You'll get a text when they're ready to see you, or your name will shop up on the board. The 5 stars were for the building alone. The wait time and the doctor were different stories. It didn't take me long to get in the room, however the wait for the doctor was almost an hour. When I saw the doctor, he absolutely was uninterested in what was wrong with me and seemed bored by my symptoms. I like the new office, but the doctor left much to be desired.
