Service was what I made it, watch your hair as you talk over food, yes you was nice, but with a motive to rush guest out at end of your dim sum rush. I wasn’t there for dim sum. Too many menus was so confusing. No, I wasn't your traditional guest but you didn't make my visit the best. Thanks for the complimentary testers at in, but again watch your hair extensions toward the food. Greet all guest at entry to confirm take out or dine in. I waited so long I seated myself and that too was an issue. You then say we about to rush guest out that area. Please work on your customer service.

Visit there once a while and it always keeps its standard and quality, recommended for sure!

First time trying this place as I was hoping it was seafood dim sum. It doesn't seem to be. They have an extensive menu with many traditional Chinese beef, pork, and chicken dishes as well as a plethora of seafood options. We saw king crab at Market price and were excited until we learned that they only sell the whole crab, it's $72/lb and it's 10 lbs. We were 2 for dinner and only one of us really loves crab so a $720 meat course seemed a bit extravagant. Opted for the Lobster at 3.5 lbs and $29/lb it seemed like a bargain. It was well cooked and nicely presented though the ginger preparation was a bit heavy and such a large Lobster has a tendency to have rather tougher meat in parts. Perhaps the house preparation would have been better or maybe I should have opted for scallops which I prefer to Lobster in any case. This is a very traditional Chinese restaurant with chandeliers and white tablecloths in a decidedly banquet hall style. Service was fine and I got a bit of a chuckle out of the waiter telling me we couldn't order the king crab as it was too much for two people. I wonder if they serve smaller portions when the restaurant is busy and more people order crab. Maybe then they can kill the beast and split it by pound to several tables... We might have to return with an army of crab lovers or on a busy night. Or just go across the street to Red Lobster. Ha! String beans were tasty as were the egg rolls.

I invited a friend to Capital Seafood to celebrate his birthday. He opted for their Dim Dum. I was disappointed that they offer a generic selection of dim sum and though they allegedly specialize in seafood, none of their seafood offerings were exceptional. I have dined at other dim sum restaurants in Arcadia that are far superior in flavor to what this place has . I also ordered duck a non-dim sum dish and unlike the dim sum, was quite good. I have to add that the servers were not particularly cordial or friendly but I also understand that this is a Western expectation. I am not sure I will return to eat here.
