I asked for a LOB with a few face framing layers…like 2 and I got a Bob with short layers (6” and heavy cuts) all the way around. I left in shock. Cried when I got home. Still in shock. It’s such an easy haircut. I even showed a picture. Beside myself. Pics of what I got and a pic of my last haircut…that I did myself during quarantine…just can’t believe it. I’ve never had hair this short it feels like my identity was taken from me.

I was there once before the influx of summer vacationers and the place was just a barbershop until I was told the cost $30. Second time I needed a haircut for my sister's wedding. Now the price was $40. I asked Yuri what changed and I discovered his already expensive haircut went from a bit high to "I rip you off if possible" prices. My old barber charged me $14 for as long as I can remember. Now I have to find someone else even further away. I just cannot support a local business that raises prices in the summer to exploit the time when people go to their summer homes during the warm months. I will make sure to ask for prices from now on. Even if it is further away and inconvenient. I cannot support someone who changes their barbershop into an saloon for looks sake.
