No one asked if needed help the whole time we (myself, 4 yr old boy and 2 yr old girl) shopped for a new fish.

Your standard big box pet store. Didn’t have the wild bird seed I was looking for. Helpful staff.

Brought my 7-months-old Shih Tzu to get groomed. I was happy on how he looked. Came home starts giving him some love then I saw a tick on his chin. My puppy is a house dog he don't go out for walks and don’t hang out with other dogs. I have a baby and 2 toddler that have all the attention my puppy can have and our backyard is full concrete no grass or dirt. I will never go back here again. I called them and told them my concern and they said that it could happen and that another dog can get ticks and could transfer to another dog because there’re a public grooming place and basically nothing they can do. Shouldn't grooming have some sort of aaha regulations or some sort of way to keep our dogs protected from other dogs who have fleas, ticks, etc? Instead of "it could happen" because we bring our pets to be clean and safe but the fact that ticks could happen and the staff(the employee i spoke to on the phone) says basically " oh well" and that they have no preventive measures.

I CALLED BECAUSE MY CAT WAS RUNNING A FEVER AND NEEDED A THERMOMETER,I CALLED AND THEY HAD 1 THERMOMETER LEFT, I SHOWED UP TO PICK UP AT AROUND 8:45 PM, THEY CLOSE AT 9 PM MOST DAYS , AND WHEN I GET THERE THEY HAD IT WAITING FOR ME AT THE FRONT DESK. GREAT PLACE IF YOU NEED AND DOG OR CAT ITEMS AND FISHIES GROOMING ECT. THE THERMOMETER WAS $15 ,NOT BAD AT ALL .

They do have reptiles of different kinds. I'm not big on them so dont know what species.
Sorry but I'm not sure. You should give them a call to find out! Thank you!
No
They sometimes have hamsters, guinea pigs yes, it would be best to call first.
I would advise you to call the store before bringing in a sick fish or other animal. They may not be able to treat it and it would only traumatize the fish. Plus, if they can help, maybe the person who knows fish is not working on the day you go in.
You take him outside as soon as it wakes up in the morning and when it uses the bathroom give it lots of praise and say good dog good dog. Do it also the same way after it eats and drinks it's meals. During the day if it's been more than a couple of hours between trips outside, take it out into the grass or the area you have designated and wait for it to go then praise it again Good dog good dog. Take it back into the house right after it uses the restroom so that it will associate the trip outside with using the bathroom. with some consistency and patience they soon catch on that you want them to use the bathroom when you take them outside. If you catch him going in the house, just say. NO! And immediately take him outside to finish. Don't hit, spank or rub his nose in it. That only confuses them and makes them sneak to go.
Yes most definitely! Petco has classes every month ranging from your question to properly feeding your animal!.
There is a groomer at petco... not a self wash station. You will need to provide an up to date shots certificate
Theres a Petco going towards Fairfield
They have chinchillas but please remember to do your research on them before buying one. Since your daughter is 8 chances are you're going to be the one taking care of it.
Not sure. I would call before visiting.
Yes
Pet Co has a bottled smell for skunks. I bathed four Great Danes and a duck.. worked real well. Tomato juice doesn't work
