Only knocked it down one star for the religious pretense to everything here. Overall, great selection and prices beat all competition.

Our visit here was great we found a lot of great stuff for my children and a couple small things for myself the store is very clean and has a bunch of great items throughout and even a few nice finds in the back area of the store that are larger items. Overall a great visit we really enjoyed the store and wonderful selection throughout Thank you for all the great deals!!

I have always enjoyed visiting Deseret Industries because it is clean and organized and has the best clothes I've found in a thrift store. But now I'm a customer for life because yesterday the dock manager Salu went above and beyond in helping me. My mom accidentally donated a pair of my grandmother's glasses. My grandma passed away recently and those glasses were one of the only things I wanted to have to remember her by. My mom felt absolutely terrible, so we went to see if we could find them before the glasses made it to the floor. Salu went above and beyond and took time out of her day to help me find the glasses despite it being like searching for a needle in a haystack. And somehow we found them! Words can't describe how much her kindness meant to me. Now I'll always have this important keepsake to remember her by, and it couldn't have happened without Salu. THANK YOU <3

Neither do they have pick up nor delivery. They will help you load it into your vehicle at the store though
They are now re-opened. Masks required
Yes. In the side yard.
You go to their website and make an appointment for donation drop time. It's extremely efficient and couldn't be happier with their service.
Yes! But you don't have to get out of your car. Its like curbside drop off.
We gladly accept Bed frames, headboards in good working order. Unfortunately, here in California we can not accept mattress, because to sell them in California, they need to be treated, and we don't have a treatment facility. You can however, go to byebyemattress.com to find a location in California to dispose of your mattresses and box springs for free.
They are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Unfortunately, no. California requires all mattresses to be treated to resell, and we do not have a treatment facility.
Yes, we certainly do!!
Don't know what deseret industries is
Sundays and Mondays they are closed
No but you can exchange clothing for 7 days as long as you have the receipt. You'll get store credit to use in the clothing department
Store reopened in September 2020
On Augst 15/2020 hope so
I don't think they have updated the online system to say they are temporarily closed. Broke my heart a couple weeks ago when I seen online that they were open and went there and they weren't. 😂😂😭
Only by appointment from organizations We go on Sat and Wed
At this time, we are close and we don't have it on line.
The store is not open to the public yet.
We don't do local pick ups. We stop doing it more than 4 years ago.
No unfortunately we do not have gift certificates.
ok steven thanks if they don't have them i will go to grocery outlet instead
Things like TV's come and go. Really good ones go quickly. All you can do is drop in from the to time and see what's available. Just remember this is a thrift store and the stock is what people donate!! Remember the old saying "beggers can't be choosers"
There is access to computers in the employment center, for those seeking jobs.. They are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 4pm. The employment center is located in Suite D of the same building. If you are facing the building, it's on your right! We gladly accept your donations on the right side of the building. Pull up under the carport area, and they will help you! Hope this helps! Thanks for your donations.
No unfortunately we don't
You mean do they have twin beds. I don't work there!! Yes they have twin beds.
We do have brand new twin mattresses and bed frames, but they are not donated, so they are more expensive than most of the other furniture.
They don't do door to door pick up but you can donate at their donation center.
I haven't seen them there.
Not that hi tech yet
The Deseret Industries on auburn blvd close to fulton ave has alot of big trucks in the back giving the appearance that they do.Deseret Industries is a very large thrift store owned and Operated by the Mormon church. They do not charge taxes!
I do believe that when you donate usable items in good condition it is sold at a great price. When the item is not usable, or in poor condition, they DO send the item and materials to other countries to recycle. NOTHING goes to waste when you donate to Deseret, unlike other places that just throw things in the trash. And make a profit. When you donate to Deseret you're not only helping your community, you're also helping deserving people far away.
As a thrift store, they sell whatever comes in. I have seen film cameras there at times. They are in the collectables cabinets.
It is worth a phone call at least. Im sure they would rather have some table leafs that don't fit anything else go to the person who bought the table. They might want a picture of the table so they can match it.
