Been over 30 years since we been here. Lake levels are very low, no shade. We only saw one boat and one campsite set up. Water was refreshing, we paddled boarded most of the day. Only had to walk an 1/8 of a mile to the water. Day use cost us $20.00. Will definitely be back!

Don't come here. This was the worst camping experience I've had. First of all the camp sites are way over priced. It came out to $50 a night which would be fine if it were a great camping experience but this was anything but that. First of all there is a Napa County wide fire ban on open fires so no fires are allowed even in designated areas. This detail was left off of the web site and not clearly marked on the camp ground at all. We could have prepared for this if we had warning but didn't bring an alternate way to cook our food. The camp host rudely crashed our camp site late in the day telling us to put out the fire while holding a lit cigarette in her hand then proceeded to tell us that fires are not allowed and that this info was sent to us in an email. The email stated only "Each site is provided one table, as well as one fire pit if allowed by local regulations." I'd recommend just using the money you save from the camp sites cost on gas and go to the mountains.

Very windy and very beautiful, dry campground (BYO water). Lake level exceptionally low mid summer 2021. No trails, great for water sports. Ok for camping. The good: wow what a view, fun place to float, looks like loads of fun to boat, fish, and jetski, and very convenient from several nearby cities. The people seem pretty nice. The less good: Honestly this was one of the most expensive campgrounds I've ever been to, but also one of the least serviced. In addition to the lack of spigots (not advertised on the website) we did two garbage sweeps on the beach and our camp site, but there was loads I know we must've missed, and lots of it had clearly been there for a while. I think a lot of the trash was related to water storage. One trashed float was too heavy to move for us but it had been there at least 3 days. We arrived Sunday and let me tell you the port-a-potties were Full. I mean FULL. Like I was a little afraid I couldn't sit on the seat without hitting somebody else's tp. They were cleaned Monday and quite nice once cleaned but clearly not keeping up with demand. Trash pickup was Tuesday morning at 6:30am, not really to be helped but super loud. The wind situation and low water level/drought conditions frankly make me think fires shouldn't be allowed here. I don't think it's safe even being cautious and most people won't be. Would come back in a group maybe but I'd treat this as an unmanaged campground in future and hope that we have a better wet season in the future!

Decent but if you want running water, showers, and real restrooms, don't come here. Porta potties and little hand washing stations with no water. Sites are basic, clean, usable. Not really shaded anywhere, but have fire pit, bbq, space for 2 large tents (ours are 8-10 person and fit fine). Only issue is tons of parking space, yet they only let you bring one car in (I've never experienced a place that lets u camp 4 people with only 1 car). So us traveling as a group of 4 with 3 days of stuff, you need 2 cars. It's weird, and my bf was stressed about parking his car out on the road for 3 days. But it's quiet, nice, and good enough for a family that rarely camps.

Yes! Open for business.
Yes but you must use the provided fire pits as well.
Yes they have a day use area.
No. There is a dump station and central water spigot only.
No hook ups available at Steele Canyon. Pleasure Cove has hookups for water and power with a few sewer.
They were swamped but should pick up eventually
Yes
If you go to their website between Jan 1-15th you might get a spot much later and they're booked for all major holidays. I booked on Jan 30th and only 3 tent spots open for 4th of july
Not yet
Another option in case pleasure Cove is closed is Lake Berryessa boat rentals which is located next to Spanish flat. Sometimes pleasure Cove doesn't answer the phone but the boat rental place is always open and has a lot of options as far as boats
Yes they do have one near the entrance but there is a cost to it
Not sure but I think it's 23
Two cars per site, if parking space allows, and I think it's two tents, or four people per site.
Yes
There is a boat launch near campsites 1-20ish. I'll say that sites 1-7 you arent able have your boat near, but 8 and up you can cause they are closest to the water. There were several boats that were anchored to the beach.
No try markley cove or pleasure cove, they might
Tent camping is 32 per night on holiday weekends its a 3 night minimum. Not sure about RV spots
Where we camped by the RV camp area there is a boat lunch and you can pay for a day pass
What is the season to stay at the Motel? Or is it just for camping? Thanks for answering.
They have large camping spots. Should be no problem.
