Ordered concrete for delivery that was suppose to come at 1pm. They were several hours late, and I had a pump truck onsite that I was paying by the hour to be there. When I called they told me they were late for every delivery that day due to a customer that ordered 40 yards too little. So, another customer’s mistake apparently was my expense, but I was particularly upset at the idea that it was expected and an industry standard to accept—and pay for—their tardiness, and that did not sit well with me. I will not use them again.

Poor and rude customer service from the beginning to the end... equipment worked great, but rates are very high! We refuse to give business to companies who don't respect our patronage; we'll go elsewhere from here on out.

Great place with good people both Bend and Redmond!!! Done a lot of business with them over time probably literally millions of dollars and always have been treated right!!!

As a contractor in business just over a year every customer and dollar count. Less than two weeks ago I ordered 32 yards of concrete for a slab. They told me they were running late, trucks tied up in Madras. When they are running behind the little guy, that's me in this case, gets bumped. Alright, they take care of their big customers first but don't show up way later than they said they would then proceed to dump the concrete so quickly it cannot be finished properly. They pour 27 yards and 5 yards go back to the plant for recycling. My debit card is charged the full amount 10 minutes after they start pouring. Well besides the 5 yards I didn't get I had to tear out about 8 yards that couldn't be finished it was cold and dark. They screwed me and take a holier than thou attitude as if I'm the bad guy. I will not use knife river again.

Depends what you are building. On a foundation I'd recommend installing rebar regardless of if it's on the prints or not. It's cheap. Most slabs/ flat work so not require rebar. That would come at homeowner discretion
Don't waste your time. Rented one for day plus hired friend to opetate. Unit broke down after 15 min. Lost entire day because no one was available to fix unit. So I lost wages I paid helper plus the charged me a hour because I had their broken machine. And wouldn't even honor their veterans discount.
We do not, but Advanced Precast in Redmond has them.
