They have cashed the same check for me 13 times over the past year with no account, and all of a sudden they can’t cash it anymore. The teller said she “thinks it’s kind of new”, yet I cashed the same check one month ago, so is it new or are you trying to force me into opening an account? It felt forced and dishonest, so it is safe to say I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I'm going to be leaving this bank very soon because when I deposit a small check of 8$ that I got from a settlement , they look at it for a long time to see if it's real and I'm like if it was a scam I'm sure the check would be way more then 8$ lol who is really going to scam a bank for 8$ lol some of these people need to use their brain if they have one

We've been with bank of the West for over 30 years it's nice/convenient to have a branch in our home town & in the Bay Area where we travel to a lot. The tellers that have been here (Newman) awhile know us by name and have helped us with all of our banking needs with professional & courteous service. We're very THANKFUL to all of them !
