No one seems to know about this place, but they have incredible, high quality chocolates and sweets. Their homemade marshmallows are wonderful, and they even made chocolate bunnies with masks for Easter. This is my favorite truly local SF place.

California's highest quality chocolate, sold at reasonable prices, by a friendly staff, especially the manager, James. I stop by several times a week to enjoy extra dark chocolate, loaded with healthful antioxidants. I have been enjoying See's since I moved to San Francisco, from New York City, in 1978.

A local institution making candies for our families & friends! Remember walking into a Sees shop and getting a free sample? It’s still great! The ladies & gents serving you are full of candy knowledge! The Sees on Market by Sansome is having a deal on Toffeettes!

Came during COVID. They were doing a great job of limiting customers into the small store. While waiting outside the manager gives you a couple chocolate samples. Once inside the store was just as normal. Fully stocked and well merchandised. The staff were eager to help and were very knowledgeable. The staff were so happy and appreciative. I got some great treats for the spring. I’ll be back soon for some gifts.

Visitors are limited to 2 at at time. There are stanchion that staff use to regulate entry. The samples are wrapped in plastic and pre bagged for customers. There is hand sanitizer available. The manager, James is both gracious and efficient. The market street store is well staffed, delays can occur when customers are indecisive. Check out their website for preorders or to aid you in choosing. The store is clean, well lit and managed. The windows are occasionally boarded because of vandalism but repaired. See's is still some of the best candy in the City. The only thing I really missed during the shutdown.
